- Four steps to alcohol misuse (November)
A report exposing how the industry uses price, place, promotion and product design to persuade us that too much alcohol is never enough. The report finds that alcohol continues to sold at pocket money prices with products on sale in Scotland for a low as 14p a unit of alcohol.
- Re-thinking alcohol licensing (September 2011)
A report of the findings and recommendations of an expert group convened by SHAAP and AFS that examined how Scotland’s licensing system could be made more effective in reducing and limiting high levels of alcohol-related harm. Particular attention is focused how the licensing objective of protecting and improving public health can be given more meaningful effect in practice.
