SHAAP responses to UK and Scottish government consultations

SHAAP has responded to the UK government's consultation on the restriction of advertising of products high in fat, sugar and salt (HFSS) with specific reference to children and young people, calling for alcohol to be included in the restricted categories; and the Scottish Government's consultation on the draft revised Guidance for Licensing Boards - Section 142 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, recommending that they be made more effective, since we know that reduced availability means reduced consumption and therefore less harm from alcohol .
